Carplay would be great if carmakers like Honda actually started using it.

Your Civic didnt have it when you dropped 15k+ for it, and you were happy.
Honda no longer cares.

When was the last time you bought a car and got a software update other than new maps? Never? Why would that change now?
I have a 2014 Civic so I feel you, but the in-dash screen was never a factor in which car I was going to buy. I'd be fine if it just had bluetooth and no screen.

Honda won't get me has a customer until they do. I've been waiting on buying a 2015 Civic myself, since September last year!
The salesman at my local Honda dealer actually tried to make me believe it already had Carplay. You Poor fool that's Siri Eye's Free, learn about your product! Anyway..Honda has to get moving my 2004 Mazda 3 may soon disappear from rust corrosion.
