I have searched the forum but it is not clear. .can I get the carrier trade-in deals in the Apple Store? The apple web site seems to imply that you can. Usually buy from Apple but t-mobile is offering 2.5x trade in value and some other kickers so I want that deal (which is published on the apple web site).

So, just walk into Apple and say I want t-mobile deal?

thanks

Nope. Carrier deals at carrier stores. Apple has their own trade-in deals.

There have been iPhone releases when Apple brought carrier reps into their Apple Stores to help with activation. That was the case when I got my 11 Pro Max. But even with the carrier reps on hand, the only deals were standard Apple deals.

Found this on the Apple Store app.

The last three iPhones (XS, 11 Pro and 14 Pro) I got I went straight to the carrier store and did not even bother going to the Apple store main reason is I got better deals and did not have to go further because the Apple Store is further from my home. Carrier deals were also better at the carrier store so I just went there.
