Cases affecting signal?

Just wondering if people have had an issue with any iPhone cases affecting the data connection...

I recently bought a griffin case, then I noticed a lot of connectivity problems when using safari, as well as just trying to update weather.

I decided to take the case off, and it works fine. I even tested this in the same exact spot on my desk here in my office, with and without the case.

anyone else?

most of the cases wont interrupt.
i know that the core case aluminum and the barley there chrome make this problem.
