Catalina too slow

I have a problem that I would like to report to @dosdude1

Every since I updated my MacBook Pro 2011 13inch to Catalina with the patcher, the OS has been extremely slow. Before on high sierra, I could easily add tags to files, rename them, and open apps fast. But every since I updated, it takes at least 10 seconds to open the menu to add tags. I have an ssd with 16gb of ram. Idk what’s wrong

Is there any chance to use the Mac OS Extended file system rather than the APFS? Well, you already have SSD storage, but still, there could be some dodgy moments. Otherwise seems like raged FileVault. And does Activity Monitor show any clue?
