CBS Sunday Morning just did a pretty good story on e-waste and the horrendous conditions in third world countries where people pick through our discarded electronics.
They asked for Apple ( as the worlds largest phone maker) to provide someone to talk about their recycling…and Apple could not be bothered. Meanwhile Samsung did, and got a lot of free and positive press. Up your PR game Apple.

What does upping a PR game actually do? Is it important to seem as green as possible to the CBS viewing market or is it simply better to just worry about actually being as green as makes sense. Apple seems to be trying to be as green as possible according to their horrible cheesy videos and constant patting themselves on the back, do we need more news in our face on how green a company is? Not sure Apple really needs to up any game as their value just seems to have one direction and that is up.
