This morning I went to burn a couple CD's. When I put a blank one in, rather than having the typical untitled cd icon, it showed up as if it were a gif file. I can still burn and use it as a CD, but the icon is wrong. It was normal yesterday, I haven't messed with anything to make it change. Any ideas as to why this happened?

Thanks,

allison.

Do you sleep the Mac?

Try restarting it or doing a (Relaunch) on the Finder. (Apple+Alt+Esc)

This usually helps when icons get a little confused.

I just went ahead and did a restart, and that fixed it. I'm not sure how long the machine had been running, so I guess it was time.

Thanks :)
