Change font color for time/cellular?

Hi all—is there a way to manually change the font color of the time/cellular/battery bar (at the top of the lock/Home Screen, idk the correct term for it—see photo below). My Home Screen has a light background too so the white font just isn’t working. In previous OS, my phone would auto correct this but I’m not sure how to force it to do this here.
