I ordered an iPhone 12 (non pro) this am from Apple, and selected the trade-in option for my current iPhone X.

I would now like to change my order to an iPhone 12 Pro...

How does this work? Can I order the Pro and somehow return or cancel the original 12?

Just trying to do this the most logical way.

For me a while back I just waited a little while and return to the order site and they gave you an option to cancel the phone and place a new one since it hadn’t shipped yet. perhaps its the same way now

Order the iPhone Pro and select trade in, same thing you did with the non pro. If it is too late to cancel your non pro order, then return it once you get it. You will be receiving a trade in returning kit for each order, use the trade in returning kit applicable to the iPhone you are keeping.

How are people able to pre order the pro?

I just get a ‘remind me’ option when I try to pre order the pro max.

Pro Max is available later this year, Nov 6 (same goes for mini). Only the regular 12 and 12 Pros are up for pre-order today.

Ah thanks, I confused myself there.

I want to see hands on videos of all the phones before pre ordering. I am leaning towards the pro max though.
