Does Apple deliberately cripple third party charge cables?
I ask this because whenever I try to use the keyboard while charing I get this result.
The cables work fine when charging only but not when typing.

This happens with all third party cables I’ve bought and on both my ipad air 2’s.

This happens with all third party cables I’ve bought and on both my ipad air 2’s.

Bizarre. I don't see this with 3rd party Lightning cables on my 10.5 iPP or with 3rd party USB-C cables on my 12.9 iPP. Had an Air 2 and never saw it there, either. These are using ASK, Bluetooth keyboards, and on-screen s/w keyboard.
