I just got this in and wanted to give my initial impressions. I like the Ballistic Nylon. It has nice padding on the back. The front cover is less padded but has either cardboard or plastic inside for stiffening. Stand mechanism works well for video and reading angles, but it's most reclined angle is still too steep for comfortable on screen typing.
It looks much like portfolio for a a spiral notebook might look, not screaming that an expensive iPad is inside. I don't plan to use the extra straps for mounting on car headrests or airline tray tables, so I didn't pay too much attention to them.
All in all a nice looking case, that feels good and works well. If you don't need the on screen typing angle a lot, it's outstanding.
