Getting good response from my two cameras in the last two betas. Used to have a hit and miss connectivity in the Home app. Usually got one or the other to display but not usually both. Always have rock solid connection through the Logi Circle app or from the web. Hope this fixes for good. I had seen a post from a Logitech engineer saying it was an issue they had made Apple aware and were waiting for them to address.

do the circle 2 wired cameras offer an "always on" option yet? Kinda like the nest cams?

You can connect to them and view the video feed anytime you want if that what you’re asking. They only record when there’s motion though (at least on the free plan).

are you saying that there’s an “always recording” option on one of the paid plans?

From the website it looks like the only difference between their plans is how long they keep the clips. When it records (motion detected only) doesn’t change. So that’s out.
