Hi. I bought a Mac Mini Late 2012 and it came pre-installed with Mavericks. I just recently downloaded Yosemite from the Mac App Store and did a clean install. I didn't like the flat design of Yosemite. Therefore, I re-downloaded from Mavericks from the Mac App Store and created a boot able Mavericks USB. Did a clean install of Mavericks back on my Mac.

My question is: Could I create a boot able Mountain Lion USB, that I purchased from Apple, and perform a clean install of Mountain Lion, even though I had/have Mavericks installed on my Mac Mini?

Here is the link to Mountain Lion:

I have a 2012 mini that shipped with Mavericks.
It is usually booted to Yosemite - which I happen to like a lot.
I have a partition with Mountain Lion that works just fine with the mini, and I installed M/Lion to that partition using the mini.
You should have no problem at all with a clean install of M/Lion, if that's what you want to do.
