Recently setup a 10.4, G5 server and am having permissions issues.

If one client creates a file or folder, other clients aren't able to make changes to these files/folders. I remember having this issue years ago but it's been a long time since I've seen it.

From memory we used a program like as Tinker Tool to fix it. I had a look at Tinker Tool and can't see anything that could help. It might have been some other program. Essentially the software made sure that all files created has RW permissions.

Can someone give me a suggestion?

Thanks T

In Server admin under sharing, set the access control list (ACL) for the share point to full control for your group... Be sure to filter down the permissions to the children.

I think your instructions are for 10.5?
