Clone using Techtool Pro 16.0.2 is not bootable

Made a clone of my MacMini running 10.15.7, using Techtool pro 16.0.2, and it does not show up in System Preferences as a startup disk.
The external drive shows up on my desktop with the correct new name of the clone.
