Hi,

I am trying to get a cloud storage/backup app that works with Mac OS 10.7.5. I was using Dropbox and Google Drive, but they have stopped working on my OS. iCloud Drive does not work either -- it requires Yosemite as a minimum. I can't upgrade my OS beyond 10.7.5 because my compute (white 2007 Macbook) does not support any newer version.

I can still use any of the above services via a web browser, but that is very inconvenient, since I have a lot of files to backup that I constantly update.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

It is possible to continue using Dropbox using your web browser where you sign in and you can access all your stored data. It is only the Dropbox app which is no longer compatible with OS X 10.7.5

Also if you haven't done so already change your default web browser to Firefox 45.9 ESR which is the latest browser to support OS X 10.7.5

If you need to carry out sensitive tasks such as online banking I suggest installing a lightweight Linux distro on Virtualbox and using that. I thoroughly recommend Lubuntu 18.04 LTS which is supported through to 2023

The most recent version of Virtualbox which is 5.2 may not be compatible with OS X 10.7.5 so you may need to download version 4.3 but it will still work fine.

Alternatively to be bang up to date using the latest software including the Dropbox app you could install Windows 7 in Bootcamp
