i've recently found myself using local bookmarks very little and posting almost everything to my del.icio.us page. the other day, i stumbled across the Cocoa del.icio.us client, which lets you view all of your del.icio.us bookmarks by tag and even load them into a webkit window within the app. this little utility looks very promising, but what really excites me are the possibilities opened up by these great web based tools like del.icio.us, feedbot, and many others. what if a browser like Shiira was to replace it's bookmarks system with something like the cocoa del.icio.us client and incorporate an rss aggregator? you could subscribe to your favorite feeds, and your friends' bookmarks, all of them indexable and searchable. i really need to learn cocoa...
