ComboDrive to SuperDrive

Can I replace my mac mini intel C2D ComboDrive with a SuperDrive from the old mac mini PPC G4 1.42?Will it run to my intel mac mini C2D?

The interface may be different. Might be worth looking at ifixit.com and checking what drives go in the Mini's you have.

Hi, Thanks for the advice,just did a test now,and it works!tested audio,DVD,video and also burning files and images into a blank DVD.but it does have only 2X burning speed unlike the newer mini,
