MP 7,1 Compatible large nvmes

I was thinking of adding a large nvme single drive to my 7,1 which is pci3 i understand

1. Does the crucial P3 work well in a 7,1 ?
2. what brands have you used successfully ?
3. what about 4-8TB ssds ?
