Conditioning the Classic Leather Buckle Band?

I know there is no literature on this from Apple, but I am wondering if anyone has conditioned their Classic Buckle band and if so, what kind of conditioner you used on it? Has the conditioner changed the texture or characteristics of the band? Any other care you've done for your classic buckle leather yet?

I want to try to keep the band in good shape. Thanks for the replies.

Thanks. I saw that and wasn't sure if that was applicable to the classic buckle. In hindsight, I should have probably asked in that thread, rather than creating a new one. (Dope!)
