Resolved Confusion About Processors...

I was recently looking at the newer Macbook Pros, but I don't understand the processors. If I say, want to run a game requiring a 2.3 processor, but I have a 2.2 quad processor, would I be able to play the game?

System requirements are often misleading because they can mention e.g. 2.3GHz Pentium 4 or better while your 2.2GHz i7 is probably at least 10 times faster. I have yet to see a game that doesn't run at all on the 2011 MBPs.
