Connecting to a PC

Any ideas how to connect to a Windows XP system? I need to transfer some files from my PC to my Mac. Detailed instructions would be good (Mac n00b here )

On the PC side just share the folder you want and on the mac

Finder > Go > Connect to server

then type "smb://[IP Address of the PC]"

You might need to enter a userID and Password from the PC to let you in. Once in you should beable to copy files over to your mac.

This is a pretty easily found problem when using Google or something.
