I'm curious if anyone ever tried to actually use an extra date field from the contacts app. One can add birthday-dates and these events can show up in your calendar (if you want). However, being born inevitably means one can die as well. I want to add the day the partner of my sister died to her contact info. That is an easy thing to do: create a label en set a date.
But what's the point if that date won't be used in your calendar?? The only thing one can do now is go to your calendar and add a recurring event.
Why isn't this made easy yet? Has anyone else found a solution (or are the rumours that Apple is adding mor functionalities to these apps?)
