iPhone SE (2016) Contacts question re "me"

On the same line as a person's name in Contacts is 'me'. What does that mean?

It might relate to another question: when I go to Compose in Gmail, above the keyboard and below the area to write,are the words ‘home’ with Gmail address of the person that has ‘me’’ in the Contacts list.


What is the relation between that name and 'me' & how do I delete this? It appears whenever I click on Compose.

Somehow your phone has that person identified as the person who "owns" the phone.

To correct it, go to Settings > Siri & Search and scroll down to the My Information field... tap on the name and select YOUR information from the Contacts.
