Resolved contents in iBooks author

Hi Guys

I'm trying to add a contents to an iBook I'm writing. Thing is there is a link, upon clicking that link, it shows the correct content. However when I publish it on my mac no contents is shown. Is the contents only available upon publishing?

You can just select the hyperlinks and change color. The new color is only shown after publishing it...
Changing the style doesn't seem to work or maybe I'm doing something wrong.

You can just create a new character style and name it hyperlink 2 for instance. This creation is done after selection of the adjusted hyperlink in your text.
