Hey all,

Trying to get the family setup just how I want it, and want each persons iPad to accept phone calls from the same persons iPhone.

I'm presuming the handover/continuity features are handled by the Apple ID on the device for iCloud - can anyone confirm this, or is there some other element that manages this?

Yes, the Apple ID is the key. Devices with the same Apple ID all receive the same phone calls. They all need to be on the same Wi-Fi network, but Bluetooth is not required for this feature of Continuity.

Thanks. That's what I thought. Looks like I need to setup separate Apple IDs and start syncing my contacts by Google again. :-/
