Hi everyone,

Something I often need to do is convert MPEG-2 video (.m2v) into ProRes. At present I do this using MPEG Streamclip, but it's looking increasingly unlikely that it's going to be 64-bitted so I'm looking for suggestions on a more "modern" way of accomplishing this.

What's an easy, and preferably free, way of doing this sort of conversion?

Thanks :)

Update for anyone interested: It turns out that the current version of Compressor (4.4.4) can do this. It's been a few years since I last tried, so I'm not sure when this function was added!
