Coolbook -- no frequency options

I just installed Coolbook (version 2.14, the latest download available from http://www.coolbook.se) on my Rev. B Air (1.6GHz/120GB) and activated my license.

When I open Coolbook, the only frequency option in the drop-down menu is 1596 MHz. I have read the Coolbook manual. I tried restarting my Air. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and reactivating Coolbook. I cannot determine the problem.

Any ideas? I cannot figure out how to get Coolbook to allow me to set frequencies other than 1596 MHz. The default Coolbook settings are 798 MHz @ .925V and 1596 MHZ @ 1.0V. I can change the voltage of the 1596 MHz setting, but I can't even modify the 798 MHz setting that the program preconfigured.

Thats all you can change cause the CPU frequencies goes from:

800MHz
1.6GHz
1.8GHz
2.0GHz
2.13GHz

Interesting. But I am not able to change the voltage of the 798MHz option; I am only able to change the voltage of the 1598MHz option. Any ideas?

800MHz is already at the lowest so what voltage can you change to? The 800MHz is actually a SLFM (Super Low Frequency Mode)

Is there any reason I would want to install Colbook in my MBA 2.13GHz, 128 SSD - Rev C? Yes, the computer heats up under stress but so has every other Mac laptop I've ever owned.

Are Rev C owners using Coolbook? And, do people think that Snow Leopard will mitigate heat issues for MacBooks generally? Thanks!

The biggest improvement you'll see is the throttling. Coolbook's throttling is less aggressive compared to OSX's throttling. However, you can probably hit 0.9375 Volts, maybe even 0.9250 for 1.86GHz.

Depends. But thankfully, rev C doesn't cause kernel_task screw ups without CoolBook at least.

In short, I still wanted it for myself. OS' default throttling isn't what I wanted.
