Corsair is buying DIY mechanical keyboard brand Drop

I always felt like drop was just an indy company content on making thier own mark. I have nothing against Corsair but I do think for keyboard related stuff, Drop offers some pretty cool things not found anywhere else.

We bought 4 Cooler Master MK730 keyboards in 2019 and they are still in use with no indication of problems.

Other brands purchased in the past 15 years are Corsair, Max Keyboard, Rosewill, Tecware and Das Keyboard. The Corsair, Rosewill, and Tecware eventually failed. My wife uses the Das Keyboard because she can live without the backlight. The Max Keyboard is a good keyboard the Cooler Master has the overall better combination of features.

The Cooler Master, though, has been the most trouble-free, has the best features in terms of color and other options, and just seems built to last for a very long time.

Keyboards are something that I like to standardize on and just use for a long time and that the keyboards that we bought 4 years ago are still selling indicates that a lot of other people like them too. Pricing is in the $100 - $150 area so premium but not the highest-end.
