Hi everyone,
I have a technical, theoretical question: Could a third party app (like the Eve app or the Hue app) potentially break the Home app (so that I can't control anything anymore in the Home app due to a bug in the third party app)?
The reason why I ask this is the following: I just updated to the newest version of the Eve app and this update not only made it impossible to control anything via the Eve app but also the Home app. Was this just a coincidence or was it really the update that broke everything? I could eventually fix the issue by restarting my Apple TV but I'm still curious whether a buggy update in a third party app could cause not only issues within the app itself but also the Home app.
Thanks and best wishes
Chris
