So I wanted to do a clean install of high sierra on my 17 macbook pro, and after erasing and formatting to apfs I tried to do the "reinstall mac os" option which has always worked, but once it looks like the os is about to install that prompt comes up that says "could not create a preboot volume for apfs install" I'm not sure what to do at this point and was wondering if any of you knew what to do. Thanks!
