Ok, the phone was replaced by apple 7 months ago under warranty.

2 days ago the (now ex) girlfriend and I get in a fight and my X gets torpedoed at my television.

Front glass and digitize are smashed as is the rear glass. The strange issue is the phone is getting no power.

So far I have tried the following:
1. Plug it into my PC no response from itunes
2. open the phone up remove battery for a few mins replace, no response.
3. I completely removed the screen and let it sit apart or a while, no dice.

Before I spend the money on a replacement screen how can I test if the phone is junk or worth trying to fix?

I think the fact the phone doesn't respond when plugged in to a power source suggest it's f*****d.

An Apple store might have more of an idea but I think you are going to need a new phone.

Same thoughts here, this phone might have had the final blow.

No not at all. They’ll give you a repair/replacement price, but not just to diagnose it. At least at Apple or their authorized repair shops like Best Buy for example. I’d stay away from the third party stores and the guys advertising on Facebook. Far away.
