Just a quick question.

Can I setup a new Apple ID without Two Factor Authentication enabled?
I have read that newly created accounts lets you turn off Two Factor Authentication within 14 days from Apple ID creation.
Is this still true or has Apple decided to remove the 14 day grace period for turning off Two Factor Authentication?

Curious, why would you opt to not enable 2fa?

Because that’s my choice. If I’m not able to turn off then oh well.

Is the 14 day grace period still exist before the 2FA is automatically turned on again?

I thought there might be a reason to your preference, that's all.

Sorry, I have no idea. Intentionally downgrading the security of such an account doesn't seem like a great idea.
