We need to upgrade from G5s to New MacPros - so the wait is ongoing.

In the mean time we also need to start using Adobes (Intel only) CS5 to collaborate with associates on projects. Trying to find the cheapest way to do this without blowing the budget for new kit

Q: Will CS5 run on a Mac Mini? (After Effects and Premier excluded)
Q: Can a mini be hooked up to the old 20" cinema displays?

yes....

in short, yes. I have a 2.53 macbook pro and it runs fine on the 9400m card. If you have had experience with cs4, you might be sketchy on running it on a slower cpu such as the mini's, but i found my macbook went from barely usable with cs4 to a speedy machine that i can use for every day work with cs5.

So the mini would be a very capable machine for daily work in cs5. However, if you have the money, i would invest in 4gb memory, faster hdd, or the better cpu. Upgrading the ram to 4gb is a must if you cant afford the faster hdd or the better cpu.

my 2 cents...
