I have a problem with the CW app, every time the commercials end the app abends (blows up) and displays and error message. When i exit the app and start it up again I have to watch the commercials over again and often it doesn't start where I left off in the program. I have the Apple TV 4K and all software is updated to the latest versions (including the CW app). I've also reset the Apple TV and reloaded all of the apps.

It's the CW APP not your Apple TV. I used to have the same issue with HULU a couple years ago. They finally fixed the issue. I suggest contacting CW and reporting the problem, maybe they'll fix it.
