Resolved Cydia crash with ios 5

I just JB my 3GS (old bootrom) which will be untether JB.

Whenever I try to add repos or search in cydia; it crashes. Is anyone experiencing this?

I am able to install tweaks that's already in cydia. I remember I have to update cydia's essential update whenever i do a new JB but not this time.

Solution: Change your phone's "international setting" to United States will solve this problem.

I'm surprise no one is having this issue.

I tried to restore it and rejailbreak it but it still crashes. Anyone?

it's not a untethered jb you have it's tethered unless you are 100% sure your 3gs is the old bootrom. i'd try the boot only option in redsn0w if cydia is good after you know it's tethered.

I am 100% sure it's untethered JB cause i tried it.

Wonder why changing the region format would matter in Cydia but at least it works.
