Windows DayZ and iMac Late 2012 with GeForce GT 650M?

I would totally like to play DayZ on my iMac Late 2012 - this one - via Windows 7/Boot Camp with GeForce GT 650M.

Can my iMac handle the game well? Is anyone playing DayZ with this iMac model?

i would imagine it would work. You probably wont have the highest settings but it should be totally playable

i have a late 2013 maxed out 27" (780m). I play with high details and native 1440p. the problem is (like with all games on imac), that any resolution lower than native looks totally crappy. currently it is a little laggy but thats because the poor optimization of the alpha build... hopefully it will run much better in future releases... but dont get me wrong.. it runs pretty well!

i love this game! try it!

edit: try MSI Afterburner and win8... i think win8 has a little more gaming performance.

So the game is playable with my iMac. Very good. I dont expect high-performance, but only a good frames/second-ratio plus a middle/good graphic.

For Windows i need the nvidia-driver: Is this version 334.89 compatibly?

Boot Camp; Windows 7 with GeForce-Driver 335.23.

Got it working using boot camp and windows 8. Running on very high graphics settings with my GeForce GTX 680MX at about 45 FPS. It looks nice for an alpha version

How is the GeForce GTX 680MX to compare with my GeForce GT 650M? This site says 8.8 versus 6.4

Runs great for me. Since my last post I updated the drivers and consistently get 65-75FPS on the "very high" settings.

The question is now how much better is the GeForce GTX 680MX to compare with the GeForce GT 650M. I guest i can play dayz on the "middle" settings.

It's not possible that nobody has a iMac Late 2012 and playing DayZ on it.

I play on a 750m on my iMac and have it set to high. . . Havet checked the FPS but I have had no issues at all. Runs great.
