New '17 MBP 15. FileVault'ed SSD. I upgraded to Beta 9, thinking it would decrypt the boot drive during upgrade. Apparently, it did not, because now I have an encrypted APFS drive.

Reading the comments, I decided to decrypt the drive. Went to Sys Prefs, FileVault, and chose to decrypt. It's been running for 2 hours now, with no progression to the progress bar, and time varying from 6 hours to more than one day... Is it stuck, or should I wait it out? Or am I doing it all wrong??

It's just super slow. Took mine about a day to decrypt on a 1TB SSD. And, another day to encrypt.

Thanks, took about 6 hours. Ended up with a clean install anyway, as Disk Utility reported unfixable errors. So far, it's working great, Xcode Beta, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and few others....
