Hi,

Will probably have a bit of trouble in explaining this, but will try.
Driving me crazy, literally.

I open up most any page, and want to save a desktop link to it.
I open them up via Safari as the browser.

a. But the link to the page always seems to appear with the Firefox logo, and usually
just as a bunch of text lines; not as the page itself that I would like to have opened.

b. How do I truly make Safari the default Browser for me ?

c. How when doing a Save Page As truly have the page THAT WAS SHOWING WHEN I DID IT, and not "some" text, show up when clicked on
the icon for that I would have on my desktop?

Thanks For Help, Great Forum,
Bob

Do you have Firefox installed?
If so, try: (my copy of FF is old, perhaps things have changed)
a. Open Firefox
b. Go to preferences
c. Go to the "general" pane (may open by default)
d. See if Firefox is somehow enabled as the default browser.
e. If it IS, see if you can DISABLE that feature.
f. Quit Firefox and try Safari again. Any change?

Hi,

Looks like you guessed right.
It says that Firefox is my default browser.

But, I can't see how to Not make it.
And how to make Safari my Default.

Any hints on how to ?

Thanks for help; very appreciated.

Bob
