The other day after upgrading to ios 11 my iphone 7 plus always plays the default ringtone when receiving a call. If I go into the settings the correct ringtone is checked but the default still play when a call comes in. Most of my ringtones I put on the phone myself a long time ago, these have worked well for a couple of years. Last night I purchased one from the tone store, just to see if it made a difference. It did not, the default ringtone still is used for incoming calls.
I did do a hard reset of the phone.
The ringtone that is selected does play in the settings screen when I check it.
If I go back to look at what ringtone is selected it is the correct one, even though the default tone is used when calls are received..
Any suggestions are appreciated, if more information is needed let me know. Thanks,
