iPad Pro Delete Key as Browser Back Button?

Is it just me, or did the iOS 9.2 upgrade remove the ability to use the delete key as a back button in safari? Since I got my keyboard I have used it and find myself in the habit.

Is it unique to mine? or did they actually remove it?
