I updated to the latest 12.4 OS and I just checked my desktop and all the files I had on there are now gone! What happened? Nothing in my recycling bin!
Hmm, perhaps what happened wasn't due to an update but after I was playing around with iCloud sharing options. So that's probably why the files disappeared. My Documents files disappeared as well but they went to the recycling bin for some "interesting" reason. Thankfully I was able to notice this before it was too late.
Yep, that's what happened, they were moved to the iCloud desktop folder. Found them, please disregard!
