Welcome to the boards. Hope you enjoy the community.

If you do a search for Desktop Manager, you will find it mentioned several places on the board.

I've tried it, and use it some. Pretty cool.

Make yourself at home on the boards and enjoy the ride!

I've been using it for a while. It's simply and free. Virtual Desktop is much more complete, e.g. you can drag a window from one desktop to another in the pager. It's not free, though.

I am relatively new to Macs and have found Desktop Manager great for use with my 12" Ibook. I only use it at work but it's a great help. I have Lotus Notes on one desktop, Terminal emulation on a second, Internet Access on a third, and Excel on a fourth. While I like expose very much, I find switching to virtual desktops easier for work. At home I just use expose.

Thanks Todd
