MP All Models Determining actual Mac Pro build date - possible?

Hi there,

I know I can input the serial numbers of my Mac Pro 5,1 & 6,1 and come up with some basic info but is there a way I can find out any further information such as the actual build date, purchase date or original spec the particular Mac Pro was shipped with?

And if so would it be possible to determine similar extended info on other devices such as 27" LED Cinema Display, 27" Thunderbolt Display etc?

I've a feeling I might have asked this question before but I did try a search and of course when I went to post a new thread I had a few suggestions come up none of which were applicable to my question...

Ah I just might have answered my own question...seems Apple Serial Number Info has more info than Apple does on its own machines!

There is also another serial number lookup site here of course; EveryMac
