SimPholders is a popular MacOS app for developers. It's a helper that sits on the status bar, and helps you easily locate iOS/watchOS/TVOS simulator sandbox files. (It is a mess to try to find them with Finder!)

The latest version (3.0.1) hasn't been updated in a while, and seems not to work with Mojave, at least not after installation of XCode 10.

It seems to have worked briefly for me, but I think stopped working after installing XCode 10. Even though using XCode 9.4.1 to build my project. (SimPholders previously worked with 9.4.1 on El Capitan.

Note that I install my XCode from the XIB file, and maintain multiple versions. A build script switches file names around to select the correct version for a project. (The iOS hybrid platform I use unfortunately expects the XCode it builds with to be called exactly "XCode.app"...)

There are two popular alternatives:

OpenSim https://github.com/luosheng/OpenSim
SimSim https://github.com/dsmelov/simsim

These are both free/open source. SimPholders is a modest $10. I've moved on, but can't say I haven't gotten my money's worth from SimPholders.

I installed OpenSim via homebrew.

Works for me, but YMMV. Currently, though, I'm using XCode 9.4.1, but about to update the project. Will comment later with success/failure.

Let us know if you try SimSim.
