Hi,

Since my studio is a registered developer I installed the DP of El Capitan on one of my Macs. I know you can update Public Betas to the final release version, but not sure for Developer Preview. Will I have to do a full wipe of the system once the final version ships?

Thanks.

I've never had to do a full wipe, but I typically do it as a best practice when installing the final golden master just to avoid any weird problems. In my years of experience with OS X, it's typically very easy to install newer releases over old ones even when it's not technically supported. Just run the final installer over your existing partition and you're good. It'll update what it needs to without touching your files and apps.
