Seems odd to me that Apple would get rid of 3D Touch while at the same time giving developers the ability to create their own haptics now. I know they’re not exactly the same thing. My guess is something will be announced this fall that perhaps replaces the current 3D Touch but doesn’t get rid of its functionality.
