Hi!
Just a 1 hour ago i updated my Macbook Pro with the beta developer update 2, but upon login, after typing my password, i got introduced to the installation screen. Is this thing going to erase my hdd and install the developer update ? What just happened ? I'm too scared to let it continue because i didn't back my hdd up

Edit: I don't know if it's worth mentioning, but i also did a pram reset during the whole thing

Or is it possible to cancel the update or just backup all my files to an external hdd ?
EDIT: Fixed by restoring from time machine local snapshot. Never again...
