iPad Did iPad OS13 blow away multi finger gestures?

Those both still work for me. Not sure where to look for a setting that maybe affecting that.

I’m having a hell of a time getting gestures to recognize consistently on iPad Mini 5. Particularly swiping up from the bottom of the screen to get to the home screen. I feel like I have to push much harder and move more slowly than I did on iOS 12.

First day I installed gestures would not work. Now they are, I’m assuming it’s just the beta being buggy.
