Hi,

Just curios if the old Pro iPhone’s had an aluminium frame on the inside just like the new Pro’s.
Or did they use ss inside ?

Thanks

The 14 and older pro iPhones are a completely different internal designs. From what I could determine is it was a frame of stainless steel with glass directly bonded to the frame. The new internal design a mid frame of titanium with aluminum. Then the back glass with the charging coil is then sealed to mid frame

From what I understand the new current design will allow battery changes more easily.
1st that wasn’t asked
2nd it’s not easier.

just the back panel can be removed now. But this has nothing to do with the titan bonding. Was already so on the non pro 14
