Did the UI change slightly?

It seemed as if the white frosted glass theme seems a lil more transparent in iOS8? Like if you go into the music app, the top bar seems a bit more transparent?

I think you might be right. I noticed it in the music app earlier as being especially prominent.

I haven't used the beta yet but that would be a nice surprise. Apple reduced the transparency a bit in 7.1 and it would be nice to have the original transparency level of iOS 7.0 again.
